Camp Dellwater - Camper info



June 14th, 15th and 16th, 2019 we are hosting a TWO NIGHT overnight camp at Camp Dellwater, 28826 Heavenly Dr NW, Shevlin MN for children ages 7-12. We will be riding horses, fishing, swimming and playing games. Our chapel services will be conducted by Pastor Maynard LaVallie of Chief Cornerstone Church of Red Lake.


EVERY CHILD MUST HAVE A WAIVER SIGNED BY LEGAL GUARDIAN OR CAN NOT CAMP...  Waivers will be provided on the website during registration.

Camp cost is $50, paid during registration and will hold the campers spot.

CHECK IN  FRIDAY June 14th @ Camp Dellwater @ 12:30 on Fri, June 14th. 

NO LUNCH  WILL BE SERVED FRIDAY. Please make sure your camper has been fed prior to coming. 

PICK UP ON SUNDAY June 16th.  Children will present their horse skills at our 'Horse fair" event, to begin promptly at 5. The Horse fair will be immediately followed by FAMILY FATHERS DAY MESSAGE & MEAL.

*We have lowered camper prices this year to ensure all kids are able to attend. Actual camp cost is about $150 per camper. PLEASE CONSIDER HOW YOU MIGHT HELP support camp by donating extra funds. An opportunity to donate will be given prior to our meal.

WHAT TO BRING: Campers and Volunteers

*Sleeping bag or blanket


*2 Changes of season suited clothes: shorts and short sleeves OR jeans and long sleeves (please check forecast)

 *Swimming suit

*Light jacket


*MUST bring Boots if available OR closed toe or tennis shoe to ride

*Tooth brush


*Bug spray

*Volunteers & Campers should bring a shareable, sealed/packaged snack to feed 12.

(You may drop off food items at the camp kitchen).


Yes. If your child has medication we will help them with it. We will need all meds, in their pharmacy bottles (with the childs name on them), in a zip lock bag along with names of medications, time to administer med and if food is required. These can be given to a counselor at check in.

Yes. If your child has food allergies we will accommodate. YOU WILL NEED TO LET US KNOW what allergies, at check in.

Yes. Minnesota evenings can get cool. Bring a jacket.

Yes. There may be mosquito's! Just bring some bug spray!

Yes. It is always a good idea to bring lots of bottled water (listed above)

Jingles the Clown at Camp Dellwater

Our sister and dear friend Judy Netten has had a clown ministry since 1999. She has made special appearances at children's hospitals, schools, nursing homes and birthday parties with the best message you could ever hear: the message of salvation! 

Jingles will be making her appearance at our horse event on Sunday, June 16th.
